Mr. Segbe Agbee Habel, the NDC Constituency Treasurer for Adaklu and a candidate for the district chief executive position has pledged his commitment to ensuring access to potable water, quality healthcare, and improved road infrastructure in the Adaklu district when given the nod.
He highlighted essential focus areas such as job creation and youth empowerment in agribusiness, as well as the revitalization of defunct markets.
Mr. Agbee emphasized the importance of educating community members about revenue generation, helping them understand the reasons behind their tax contributions.
He spoke to the press after his vetting process at the Volta Regional Residency on Monday.
Mr. Agbee expressed his excitement that the Member of Parliament for Adaklu, Hon. Kwame Agbodza, serves as the Minister of Roads in the Republic of Ghana. He intends to leverage this position to develop a robust road network for the Adaklu area.
The final list of candidates for the Adaklu District Assembly is expected to be announced in the coming days following the vetting process that took place on Monday, January 27, 2025.
