The Chiefs and residents of Adaklu are absolutely jubilant as they celebrate the fantastic nomination of Kwame Governs Agbodza as the Minister for Roads and Highways by President John Dramani Mahama.
With hearts filled with joy, the community came together to express their gratitude, believing that this appointment is a wonderful opportunity to enhance the roads in Adaklu and uplift the entire Volta Region.
Togbe Agbobada IV, a Senior Divisional Chief of the Adaklu Traditional Area, expressed his excitement, saying,
“We, the Chiefs and the good people of Adaklu would like to express our gratitude to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for choosing our son, Kwame Governs Agbodza, as the Minister-designate for Roads and Highways. We want to assure the nominee of our support in ensuring he delivers on his mandate as a Minister,”
“As a constituency, our major challenge is our road network, which is in a very bad state. We believe that with our son in charge of the Ministry now, he will deliver to alleviate our challenges, if not entirely, at least significantly. We know that the road network is a major challenge across the country, but we hope he will do what is needed nationwide while giving Adaklu the attention it desperately needs,” Togbe Agbobada IV added.
Jerry Ameko, the Adaklu Constituency Chairman of the NDC, described Mr Agbodza as a compassionate politician committed to excellence. He shared his confidence that this new era under Mr Agbodza’s leadership will bring incredible developments in the road sector, especially for Adaklu and the surrounding areas.
